The Lexi Lewis Foundation has partnered with Natasha Hill to offer a music therapy program. Natasha has many years of experience in this field and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
Music Therapy is a unique, well-established health profession that unites music and therapeutic expertise to enhance an individual’s health and quality of life. Music therapy uses clinical and evidence-based music interventions to address physical, psychological, cognitive, and/or social functioning for clients of all ages in a variety of settings. Although most listeners may not have the same technical experience in music as professional artist, it is easy enough to see the effect it has in a person's everyday life.
The foundation’s founder believes music is a universal language; it knows no race, creed, color, age or illness and brings happiness to those who listen. Music can be spiritually lifting, music can be reminiscent of wonderful memories and music can transform silence into a symphony.
